RAF SIMONS AUTUMN/WINTER 2011

FALL OF THE PRINCE I don't understand the latest RAF SIMONS collection, showed yesterday, in PARIS. It looks like a retrospective of over half a dozen previous collections, done in a bad, non-inspirational way. I get the feeling that it was made to attract the fans, who preferred, and have missed, the old RAF, these last couple of years. But when the majority of the pieces look like they belong to his - well, not so interesting - diffusion line, RAF BY RAF SIMONS, the attempt is suddenly doomed to fail.

Be that as it may, it still makes me a bit sad, to read that this collection will not even be made, due to production discrepencies.
